Was a veggie myself for 7.5 years, and still eat a lot of excellent vegetarian food (because I make it!) Only down side to the vegetarian food, especially if you eat lots of pulses and beans is the unmistakable aroma when one farts.

BTW, has anyone else ever eaten Jerusalem artichokes and had the inevitable after effects they cause? Sweet mother of God, they make sprouts seem like Eau de Cologne.

I was a vegetarian for a few years before I fell victim to a scotch pie, farting is actually good for the old shite pipe.
I was absolutely delighted when I first found out that marmite contained no meat.

MacVomit?

Have to admit, I've gladly never eaten any of their produce. Despicable company that don't allow employees to join Trade Unions. Room 101.

McDonalds is a quite pleasant quick fix, I'm too old for fast food now though, plays havoc with me, Chicken and mushroom pot noodle? nah a proper meal for me. We got two invites but travelling is not on when you don't drive. Taxi's? Nae chance.

I must say you make a fantastic seafood marinara John. My other half and I really enjoyed your cooking on our visit. Easy

KSC - we've done the local curry house in Prestatyn on Christmas Day a few times. great value as they offer something different and don't crank up the prices too much. One or two places round here are asking over £100 for a bog standard turkey dinner, albeit four courses. We're talking run of the mill pubs though, not the Dorchester. Curry house nails it for me every time.
