Something which I've seen a few times recently to try and encourage fans to buy programmes is putting a copy of a recent match online.

Woking have done this at http://www.iditions.co.uk/wokingfc/WFC-110809/#

Chelsea's example at http://chelseafcprogramme.digitaleditions.co.uk/sample170109/

I really hate the idea of an e-programme.

You can't store it in your collection, you cant take it to the match to read at half time or on the way home.

I don't see the point in it really.

If most programmes end up going this way I'll be selling my collection and walking away from the hobby.

I agree - just to add I love the idea of being able to see what the programmes are like...not for it to replace printing them.

Agreed. As a way of showing people that don't normaly buy a programme what they are missing it's a great idea. If done just once/twice a year. What I don't like is the thought of clubs putting every issue on line as it will cause lost sales for the paper version. Don't know if they still do it but didn't Cardiff try selling an online version last season?
