I checked out HFK for all the red teams - Barnsley, Bournemouth, Crewe, Doncaster, Exeter, Middlesbrough, Forest, Swindon, Wrexham - apologies if I forgot someone - but Swindon was the nearest though ...

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. I did think that myself, but the only time Reading played them then Swindon weren't wearing that kit.

Like myself Bryan is from Reading and I've known him for over 30 years, so I'm chuffed that he did so well.

I recently picked up this lovely press photo (a 'Berkshire Chronicle' stamp is just visible on the back) after spotting it on a Facebook group and making a cheeky offer!

I used to buy every Reading programme from the games I went to, and I never missed a home game for many years. In the late nineties I was moving house and realised I just didn't have room to keep them ...

A tad optimistic? This is genuinely on ebay but I didn't want to click the actual listing. On the plus side, they do offer free postage!
