Hey, have you guys seen any recent statistics about bullying in New Jersey? I’m curious if the numbers are improving or getting worse, especially with everything that’s been happening lately in schools. Do you know how common bullying still is and if there’s any data showing trends over the years?

Yeah, I actually came across some recent data. Bullying in new jersey bullying statistics schools has seen fluctuations, but it seems like there’s been a slight decrease overall. In 2023, around 18% of students reported being bullied, down from 21% in previous years. A big factor seems to be the increased focus on anti-bullying programs. Schools have been putting in more effort to raise awareness and implement preventive measures.

Thanks so much for sharing that info! It’s really interesting to hear about the slight decrease in overall bullying rates, but yeah, it’s concerning that cyberbullying is on the rise. I agree, there’s definitely more work needed, especially with online spaces becoming a bigger part of students’ lives.
